Visions of Hope Annual Benefit Gala
Thursday, November 2, 2017 I 6:00-10:00pm | The Grove, Cedar Grove, NJ
Our Annual Benefit Gala raises awareness and vital funding for our 20 integrated programs that provide recovery, support, and hope to thousands of men, women and children each year. On November 2, 2017, we celebrated a milestone anniversary with 35 Years of Hope – and with the help of over 400 generous supporters, raised over $660,000, making this our most successful Gala ever.
The evening put a spotlight on the opioid crisis and the myriad ways Eva’s Village is responding to the needs of our neighbors struggling with addiction. Eva’s Recovery Specialists, who make lifesaving peer-to-peer connections with overdose patients every day through our Opioid Overdose Recovery Program, were recognized with the Msgr. Puma Award; the “Where Hope Begins” Award was presented to Dr. Mark Rosenberg of St. Joseph’s Health for his innovative approaches to patient care, including the creation of the ALTO (Alternatives to Opiates) program. The Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth were also recognized with the Community Service Award for more than 150 years of service in Paterson and their numerous contributions to the growth of Eva’s Village for the last three and a half decades.
We are grateful to everyone who made the evening our best Gala yet! For information on our 2018 Gala or our other fundraising events, please contact Joey Mazza, (973) 523-6220 x235 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
