 Eva's Participates in Homeless Count & Survey

Eva’s Village participated in the annual Point-In-Time count and survey of the homeless population in Passaic County during a 24 hour period, Jan 24 & 25. Local and County social service agencies set up tables in Eva’s parking lot to distribute warm clothing, toiletries and information about services and programs that can help people who are homeless. . . . Eva's Recovery Specialists Work with Patients Saved from Overdose

St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson is fighting the opioid epidemic on many fronts: prescribing alternatives for pain, limiting prescriptions and working with Eva’s trained Recovery Specialists, who meet patients reversed from opioid overdose in the ER to connect them with recovery services and treatment programs. Recovery Specialists then follow up with them for at least 9 weeks. . . . Read the article.
