This year, Plates of Hope takes on even deeper meaning as we celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of our founder, Monsignor Vincent E. Puma. His simple but powerful belief— that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a hot meal— continues to guide everything we do.
At Eva’s Village, we know food does more than nourish the body— it restores dignity, builds community, and supports healing. Each year, our Community Kitchen serves thousands of meals, our Culinary School opens doors to meaningful careers, and our recovery programs address the disproportionate impact of substance use disorders within the food service industry.
