Emergency Overnight Shelters for Men and for Women
Eva's Village Emergency Overnight Shelters for Men and Women provide emergency shelter beds for homeless adults 18 years of age and older. The men's shelter has capacity for 29 men, with up to 58 in severe weather conditions, while the women's shelter has capacity for 34 women, with up to 37 in severe weather conditions.
The shelters are filled to capacity during most of the year. The homeless men and women in these programs often suffer from behavioral health issues, substance abuse and limited resources. At Eva's Village we provide the homeless with the basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing. To address the underlying problems associated with homelessness, counselors work with the clients to link them with other programs and resources at Eva's and in the community.
