Our Programs
- Community Kitchen
At Eva’s Community Kitchen, food is more than a meal. It is hope, dignity, and connection. Each day, we serve an average of 1,000 meals to community members and to residents of our shelters and halfway houses.
Unlike most soup kitchens, we personally serve every plate to each guest. From a breakfast each weekday morning to daily lunch services, the Kitchen ensures that no one who comes to our doors leaves hungry.
Our Kitchen thrives because of the generosity of volunteers. Individuals, businesses, faith communities, civic groups, and schools all join us in serving with compassion and care. Together, we are nourishing bodies and uplifting lives. - Shelters & Apartments
At Eva’s Shelters, compassion comes first. Our Men’s and Women’s Shelters offer temporary housing each year to more than 200 adults, ages 18 and older, experiencing homelessness.
Each guest is welcomed with dignity and respect, along with access to critical services that address immediate needs and open doors to long-term stability. Beyond a safe place to sleep, our shelters connect individuals to meals, case management, medical care, and pathways to recovery and housing.
In addition, Eva’s offers 50 units of permanent, affordable housing to income-eligible residents, providing a stable foundation for lasting independence. - Treatment & Recovery
At Eva’s Village, we know that the journey to recovery is deeply personal and often challenging. Every individual faces unique obstacles, and every success begins with compassionate support and the right guidance.
That is why we offer a full range of programs designed to meet people where they are, helping them regain stability, rebuild confidence, and reclaim their lives:
• Halfway Houses for Men and Women
• Hope Residence for Mothers with Children
• Recovery Community Center
• Opioid Overdose Recovery Program
• Outpatient Substance Use Disorders Program - Outpatient Mental Health Program
At Eva’s Village, our Outpatient Mental Health Program provides compassionate, personalized care for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. Licensed clinicians offer group, individual, and family therapy to educate, support, and empower clients.
Each person begins with a thorough assessment to create an individualized treatment plan. Using a strength-based approach and evidence-based practices, our staff help clients manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
We also provide services in Spanish, ensuring care is accessible to all members of our community. - Culinary School and Workforce Development
At Eva’s Village, we empower adults to build meaningful careers and transform their lives.
Since 2013, the Culinary School has offered a 20-week program where students earn a Certificate of Completion and ServeSafe Certification, gaining the skills and confidence to succeed in the hospitality industry. Ninety-five percent of graduates go on to find employment and begin a new chapter in their lives.
Our volunteer-led Workforce Development program provides mentorship, practical training, and the guidance clients need to pursue opportunities, develop independence, and achieve lasting success.
