Donating Food and Personal Care Items

Special Needs during the COVID-19 Outbreak

We are taking pro-active steps to protect the health and safety of all members of our community. We will continue to update this list in the event that our needs change. Every day brings new challenges, but we are deeply committed to continuing our care and services for those who need us most. As it becomes clear that the pandemic is likely to affect us all for months to come, your generosity has never been so impactful. The services offered at Eva’s Village - food, shelter, addiction treatment and recovery support - are especially crucial at this time, and your charitable partnership helps to ensure that our residents and vulnerable members of our community receive the help they desperately need to survive.
  • Gift cards to BJ’s, Costco, and ShopRite
  • To donate food to our Community Kitchen: We can only accept dry/boxed goods as well as commercially packaged frozen items. Before dropping off any food donation, please contact Chef Director Dave Bein at 973-523-6220, x 239
  • To donate prepared food - due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we can only accept prepared foods from inspected and licensed professional kitchens
  • Please choose Eva's Village when you shop with Amazon Smile
During the pandemic, on-site volunteer opportunities are limited. Find out how you can  help by becoming a virtual volunteer!
We have never been more grateful for your belief in our work. Any donation, no matter the size, will have an impact bigger than you know. Please consider making a gift to support our continuing operations during this challenging time.

Eva's Village serves over 500,000 meals through our Community Kitchen each year, and provides residential care for over 300 men, women, and children in our Emergency Shelters and treatment programs. We welcome specific donated items to support our efforts, and we encourage you to organize donation drives with your company, your church, your community group or your family and friends!
To coordinate delivery of food donations, contact our Purchasing Agent Paul Fierro at (973) 523-6220 x 255.

Please note that Eva's Village does not accept donations of clothing or household items. We encourage you to contact Father English Center in Paterson at (973) 279-7100 to donate these items.
